Vintage Theme Setup Guide

✅ Step 1: Activate the App Embed Block

• Click on the "Activate App Embed Block" button in the warning message, or in the first step of the setup guide.
• You'll be redirected to the theme editor.
• In a few seconds the App Embed Block should be activated automatically.
• Save your changes and go back to the Gift Calendar App.

✅ Step 2: Add gifts to the calendar

• Click on a date in the calendar.
• Enter the gift description in the editor.
• (Optional) Attach an image.
• Save the gift.

✅ Step 3: Display the Gift Calendar in your store

Once you’ve added all the gifts, you’re ready to display the calendar in your store.

To display the Gift Calendar:

• Add this shortcode to a page / collection / product description, where you want the calendar to appear:

  <div is="sbs-gift-calendar-shortcode"></div>

• Paste the code in HTML view (page, collection, product description, etc).
• Save your changes and view the page. The Gift Calendar should show up with the gifts you added to it previously.

🎨 Step 4: Customize the Gift Calendar

To customize the calendar in a Vintage theme:

• Open the Theme Editor and go to the page where you added the shortcode.
• If the calendar doesn’t appear, check that the Gift Calendar app embed is enabled (step 1).
• In the App Embed section, look for Gift Calendar Block and open its settings by clicking on it.
  
• Adjust the design settings to match your brand.
• Save your changes.

Your Gift Calendar is ready to go!

That’s it! Your Gift Calendar is live and ready to share with your customers.
